Its compact, bushy growth makes it an ideal plant for borders, natural gardens or rock gardens. It also attracts numerous bees and butterflies, making it a valuable addition to any natural garden. Salvia 'Ostfriesland' is hardy and thrives best in full sun on well-drained, rather dry soil.
