This creeping tree friend is characterized by its large, shiny, crisp green leaves, which get a great drawing from the slightly deeper leaf veins. They grow at short intervals on thick, long shoots, giving the plant a dense and compact habit.

Because the divided leaves are reminiscent of the tail of a Qilin (Kylin), the animal of goodness and humanity in Chinese mythology. This dragon-like mythical creature, which even found its way into the world of Harry Potter, has such a divided tail.
