Cryptanthen are the perfect plants for the soil and, thanks to their eye-catching coloring, an enrichment for every rainforest terrarium. All species of the genus Crypthantus are native to Brazil.
But even on the windowsill, these colorful leaves and very frugal exotics are a wonderful splash of color.
They fascinate with their red-purple leaves. The color is intensified by a lot of light. If they are planted in the terrarium on the ground, you should make sure that light penetrates all the way down. Also, the soil should not be swamped, otherwise waterlogging threatens. Earth stars may also, like other bromeliads, be epiphytic, i. be cultivated on a branch or on the back or side walls of the terrarium.
In mature Crytanthes, small, white flowers form in the funnel. After blooming, the plants form offshoots, over which they can easily multiply.
The set will be put together by us depending on stock and availability. A selection of individual varieties is not possible.
