Scilla siberica, the Siberian blue star, is one of the earliest heralds of spring. With its intensely blue, nodding flowers, it brings a vibrant splash of color to flower beds, lawns and under shrubs as early as March and April. The compact bulbs with a size of 7–8 cm develop into robust plants that reliably and happily run wild over the years. This results in dense, natural carpets of flowers that enrich any garden.
The blue star is extremely easy to care for, hardy and thrives in both sunny and semi-shady areas. Its early flowering time makes it an important first food source for bees and other insects. In the XXL pack of 50 pieces, Scilla siberica is particularly suitable for larger areas, borders or natural garden areas.
