The Fritillaria persica, also known as the Persian Imperial Crown, is one of the noblest and most fascinating spring flowers. Its tall, upright stems bear numerous bell-shaped flowers in a deep, purple-violet hue - arranged close together like little pearls in a crown. Each plant produces an impressive flowering candle in spring, which looks particularly elegant thanks to its harmonious structure and velvety coloration.
In the garden, the Persian imperial crown makes a strong yet stylish statement. Whether planted individually as a solitary plant or in groups, it attracts everyone's attention and can be perfectly combined with bright tulips, daffodils or ornamental leeks. It prefers sunny to semi-shady spots with well-drained soil and thrives both in beds and in large planters.
5 strong bulbs of premium quality are supplied. After planting in the fall, they develop their characteristic, elegant umbels in the spring - year after year a highlight in the spring garden.
