Compact, fragrant lavender - Lavandula angustifolia 'Dwarf Blue'
Lavandula angustifolia 'Dwarf Blue' is a compact, particularly decorative dwarf form of true lavender that delights with its intensely fragrant blue flowers. Its silver-green, narrow leaves form a beautiful contrast to the flower color and create a Mediterranean atmosphere in the garden. From June to August, this easy-care plant attracts numerous bees and butterflies and thus contributes to biodiversity.
This lavender is hardy and thrives best in full sun locations with well-drained, rather dry soil. Its compact growth habit makes it ideal for smaller gardens, beds, rock gardens or pots. Light pruning after flowering in late summer and further pruning in spring promote bushy growth and abundant flowering in the coming season.
