Bright, hardy coneflower - Echinacea purpurea 'Magnus'
Echinacea purpurea 'Magnus', also known as purple coneflower, is a striking, hardy perennial that is a real eye-catcher in the garden with its large, bright pink flowers and striking dark orange center. From July to September, it provides a long-lasting floral display and attracts numerous bees and butterflies, helping to promote biodiversity.
The purple coneflower is hardy and prefers full sun locations with well-drained, nutrient-rich soil. This low-maintenance plant is ideal for flower beds, wildflower meadows or as a structural element in near-natural plantings. Pruning after flowering promotes healthy development and can stimulate a second flowering phase.
