Rhipsalis cassutha is also called a Ruthene cactus because of its long and thin shoots. The care of this Rhipsalis species is similar to that of other varieties. The non-toxic cactus forgives minor care mistakes and is therefore ideal as a beginner's plant.

Location: bright location, in the summer like outdoors. Bright sun does not tolerate the Rhipsalis. Morning and evening sun are not problematic.
Watering: Complete drying must be avoided. However, they must not be overpoured. Always dry well on the surface first. Watering regularly in the spring, less watering in autumn, and only moderately watering in winter.
