Szechuan Pepper - The "dufte" bonsai for your windowsill
Szechuan pepper will enrich your window sill with a very special fragrance: its interesting leaves smell of citrus and hot pepper at the same time. Although it has to do with our well-known black pepper nothing, its seeds are used in the Chinese province of Szechuan for sharpening the food. Through this common condition Szechuan dishes their characteristic flavor. Unfortunately, the plant will develop in our latitudes, no seeds, but there are interesting inflorescences in summer.
