Hardy ground cover with bright berries - Cotoneaster 'Coral Beauty'
Cotoneaster suecicus 'Coral Beauty' is a versatile, hardy ground cover with a dense growth habit. Its glossy green leaves give the garden a fresh look all year round. In spring, it is adorned with delicate, white flowers that turn into bright orange berries in the fall. These are not only a beautiful eye-catcher, but also a valuable source of food for birds.
The arching shoots can become relatively long and spread over a wide area, which means the plant can be used both as a ground cover and for low hedges. Cotoneaster 'Coral Beauty' is extremely easy to care for and thrives in both sunny and semi-shady locations. Pruning is not absolutely necessary, but can be done before the end of February to shape and compact it. Thanks to its hardiness, it remains attractive even in the cold season.
